Singapore is a leader in technology, but integrating automation into workflows posed challenges due to resistance to change. Digital transformation demands much from employees, with a steep learning curve and long adjustment periods. Switching from manual to automated processes created fear and stress, particularly with the extra workload and tech issues during the roll-out phase. Many companies struggled to help their teams adapt.

Imparting digital confidence

This ebook was a content marketing piece designed to offer help to change managers and people managers. It served as a guide for preparing their teams for digital transformation by imparting what ROHEI refers to as digital confidence.

ROHEI, in its research and interaction with learners and clients, found that behind the resistance and struggle that staff faced was fear.

This eBook, released in 2019, introduced the people-centric ROHEI brand along with values and principles that help organizations manage change effectively by putting people first. The visuals play with an isometric grid, which represents the “new way of doing things” that businesses were adjusting to.

Within that grid, the 3 dimensional pixels and the images within represent the ways in which people can respond to and thrive in their changing workplace.

Shifting mindsets

The numerals are all custom-made for the ebook using the isometric grid.

The visible grid behind the numerals and imagery. The way it is used visualizes how a system can be used to create efficiency while encouraging creativity and multiple applications within set boundaries.

Another interesting visual feature is the change of direction in the numbers. The first set of numbers represent the fears, while the second set contains the positive responses. These numbers face forward to symbolize a switch from fear to confidence.

The book's content has two main sections: the Barriers and the Keys to digital confidence. Along with the numbers facing a new direction, ROHEI's striking yellow brand color is perfect for conveying a sense of positivity in the Keys section and helping the journey of digital transformation (and the task of leading it) look less heavy.
